Definition of personal information
The personal information under the Policy refers to the “personal information” defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
We at Masameya Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Masameya”) define our privacy policy
(hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) for our users’ personal information as set forth below.
The personal information under the Policy refers to the “personal information” defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
With regard to the processing of the personal information acquired by Masameya, Masameya will abide by the guidelines on the protection of personal information as well as other related laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information. Masameya will take organizational, physical, manual and technical measures appropriately for the protection of personal information and implement measures necessary and appropriate for the prevention of leak, loss or damage of such personal information processed by Masameya as well as for the security management of other personal information.
Only to the extent necessary for the operation of the informational website and the online store (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) managed and controlled by Masameya via the Internet, Masameya may acquire personal information concerning the persons using the Website or posting advertisements on the Website.
Except when required by laws or regulations, or the consent of the person concerned is obtained,
Masameya will not use the personal information it acquires exceeding the scope necessary to attain the following
purposes.
① Operation, maintenance and management of the Website
② Supply and presentation of services via the Website
③ Questionnaire for improvement of the Website
In principle, Masameya will not change or modify the intended use defined in the preceding section unless the consent of the person concerned is obtained in advance. However, Masameya may change or modify the intended use by officially announcing the changed or modified intended use in advance as long as such change or modification is deemed to be reasonably related to the intended use before change or modification.
Masameya will appropriately manage and control the personal information it obtained and will not disclose such
information to any third party except when any of the following items is applicable. If Masameya outsources the
processing of the personal information wholly or partially to a third party, Masameya will supervise the third
party as required and appropriately by sufficiently evaluating and examining its qualification in order to
ensure the security management of personal information to be processed.

② If the personal information is disclosed to the third party to whom the processing of personal information

outsourced in order to implement the intended use under the Policy
③ If the personal information is disclosed under the applicable laws and regulations as requested by a
government agency, local public agency or the like
④ If the personal information is required to defend life or protect the physical safety or properties, and it
is
difficult to obtain the consent from the person concerned
Masameya will check the personal information processing and management system and efforts in order to continually improve and revise them.
The request for disclosure of personal information shall be sent to the address indicated below by
post. Then, after confirming the identity of the person concerned or his/her representative, Masameya will take
the procedures by sending the document or by using the method agreed by you and Masameya. You shall understand
that the postage fee shall be borne by the person concerned and it will take a certain number of days to
complete the procedures.

Masameya will cancel or dispose of the personal information if it is deemed to be no longer necessary for the intended use. Such cancellation or disposal shall be implemented with a method necessary and appropriate for preventing it from leaking out only to the extent necessary to execute the service.
Unless otherwise prescribed in the applicable laws and regulations or the Policy, the Policy may be changed or modified without notifying the user thereof. Unless otherwise specified, the Policy shall start to take effect upon publication on the Website.
